REPRODUCE is the second “r” of the r3 vision for leadership and indicates the process of discipleship by which Christ is reproduced in another person.  Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:18-20 to “go and make disciples … baptizing them … and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.”  Obviously, this is the language of reproduction; Jesus was instructing his disciples to go and teach others what he had taught them and make new disciples.

Reproduction also involves reproducing yourself as you, through the power of the Holy Spirit, reproduce another disciple-maker. In 2 Timothy 2:2 we see Paul write to Timothy “what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”  In this one verse we see four “generations” of disciples: Paul, Timothy, the faithful men, and the others that they also teach.  Reproduction of disciples who make disciples is God’s plan to reach the world, and r3 ally will feature content to help you in that process.
