What’s Your Plan?
“More time in the Word.”
That’s the number one thing guys I meet with say they need more of. More consistency. More motivation. More … something … that will help them get in the Bible. What they really need is a plan.
So you are two weeks into 2012 and you are still planning on getting going on that Bible reading plan, right?
Here are some online tools that will help you by getting the Bible to you in whatever way works best for you. RSS Feed? Got it. Email? No problem. Want to read it on your mobile device? Yeah, there’s an app for that. So pick one and make a plan. And then when your pastor asks what you need in your life you can shock him with something new … like “more great posts from R3ally.org!”
Take your pick:
- Want to get an email?
http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/readingplans/ - Want to read the One Year Bible online? You can pick your translation.
http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/january.asp?version=51&startmmdd=0101 - Want to get it on your mobile device? Try the YouVersion app. Here’s a link to their Bible reading plans page:
http://www.youversion.com/about/reading-plans - Not so ambitious? Want to try the Psalms in a month or the words of Christ in 3 months? Lots of flexible plans available at
http://www.bibleplan.org/ - Did I mention RSS feeds? Here’s a whole bunch of em courtesy of the good folks at the ESV:
